Co-Managed IT: We Strengthen the Team You Already Have

You have IT people, and they’re good. But no small team can cover everything: the after-hours load, the specialized projects, the deep security work, the strategic planning. That’s what co-managed is for. You keep the team you have, and we fill the gaps.

It’s an a la carte model. You look at the full menu and take what serves you now, instead of paying for a full outsource you don’t need.

Where We Usually Fill In

Every internal team has a different shape, so we shape the engagement around yours. The gaps we cover most often:

  • Security and compliance. The deep work most internal generalists don’t have time to keep current.
  • After-hours and overflow. Coverage when your person is asleep, on vacation, or buried.
  • Specialized projects. Migrations, rollouts, and the work that needs a specialist for a few weeks, not a new hire.
  • Strategic guidance. An outside advisor for the decisions that outlast any single ticket.

It Flexes as You Grow

The point of the model is that it changes with you. One client started with a handful of services and, a few years in, their new IT director asked us to roughly double what we handle, adding help desk and monthly on-site visits to each location. You take what you need now, and adjust when your needs change.

If you don’t have internal IT at all, fully managed is usually the better fit. We run all of it, soup to nuts. See Fully Managed IT.

Common questions

Fully managed means we run all of your technology. Co-managed means we work alongside your internal team and cover what they don’t. Same menu of services; you choose how much of it is ours.

No. Co-managed is built around keeping your people. We cover the gaps and take the pressure off, so your team can focus on what they do best instead of being stretched across everything.

Yes, and most firms do. You can start narrow and expand, or scale back as your team grows. The arrangement is meant to flex with the business.
